Tuerto Rey - Poesía y alrededores

poesía, magia y alrededores /
de la literatura universal

Jimmy MacCarthy
/ Una radiante rosa azul

Una radiante rosa azul

Me deslicé rasante por oscuras aguas
sin sumergirme una sola vez
hacia las orillas de una mañana urbana
mucho más anhelante
por la primera luz
que las montañas

Ella, como un alma junto a mí,
baja con la gracia de un delfín
y despierta
secreta, natural y sana,
una criatura perfecta
de rasgos puros
y yo  soy como  el friki
con la piedra del alquimista

Coro

Aquellos que emprenden la búsqueda
aquellos que intentan comprender
alejados del camino ajeno
darán con una mano muy especial
algo sagrado
un tiempo sublime
y es el único modo
no me olvides entre la nieve
así fue siempre y será
para meditar su muerte y su vida
eternamente

Una radiante rosa azul
que sobrevivió dos mil años y aún perdura
para meditar su muerte y su vida
eternamente.

The Bright Blue Rose

I skimmed across black water
Without once submerging
Onto the banks of an urban morning
That hungers first light much, much more
Than mountains ever do
And she, like a ghost beside me
Goes down with the ease of a dolphin
And awakens unlearned, unashamed, unharmed
For she is a perfect creature
Natural in every feature
And I am the geek with the alchemist’s stone

Chorus

For all of you who must discover
For all who seek to understand
For having left the paths of others
You find a very special hand
And it is a holy thing
And it is a precious time
And it is the only way
Forget -me-nots among the snow
it’s always been and so it goes
To ponder his death and his life eternally

One bright blue rose outlives all those
Two thousand years and still it goes
To ponder his death and his life eternally

Jimmy MacCarthy

Sandra, 2012.
